Chop Local

Camden County is our home.  We live right here in Kingsland and St. Marys. Our kids go to the local schools and we love our Wildcats! We also know that there isn't a ton of things for kids and adults to do.  There are plenty of great attractions, entertainment, sites and locations right outside of County, but we wanted a place that could be ours! That belonged to the Community, for the Community.  Unleashed Camden is that place. We believe that with the right tools, anyone can turn passion into a business. We just happen to really like Axe Throwing and breaking things.

Axe The Drive to JAX

At Unleashed Camden, we wanted to bring entertainment in ways never seen before around here.  We envisioned a place that people could gather and have fun, laugh, and throw axes at.  In September 2021, we opened our 2500 sq ft indoor entertainment center.  We have a Rage Smash Room where guests could unleash their energy in a safe and constructive setting.  We have a Paint Splatter Room where painting outside the lines is not allowed, it's highly encouraged! We built a bar, had some snacks, held birthday parties and church outings. And we opened 10 lanes of Axe Throwing and started a League. It's been awesome!

Community Over Competition 

We continue to look for ways to connect and support our local community.  We partnered with our local First Responders and held a Guns vs. Hoses Charity Axe Throwing Tournament.  We partnered with Camden County Public Library to host their book clubs. We partnered with local restaurants like Ops Pizza Kingsland & Southern River Walk to offer Dine & Play discount deals to encourage people to stay in Camden. We developed a Fundraising Program to allow local organizations to raise funds for their causes. When we heard that our local Business Network Institute needed a new home, we offered our space. It wasn't just words for us when we said we were here for Camden. We care. We just happen to care while throwing axes and smashing bottles and painting walls.

#AxeFamily

Our Axe League is where things went nuts. In October 2021, we became a sanctioned World Axe Throwing League venue and started our first Fall League with 13 members. It was fun, but then something special happened.  Something we didn't plan on, envision or anticipate.  Our Axe League grew. And grew. And continued to grow.  After three seasons, we were averaging over 40 members.  This made us one of the biggest Axe Leagues in the Country! Camden County showed up.  They came out, they told their friends, they arrived. We had arrived. We became an Axe Family. We have members from Kingsland, Kings Bay, St. Marys, Yulee, Fernandina Beach, Folkston, Jacksonville & Brunswick. It's amazing! 

 

Where We Are Going

 We started inviting local Food Trucks to come out on Thursdays to feed the Axe Family, and quickly realized we had outgrown our venue! We didn't have enough room!  We expanded our Axe Throwing into a new space and now offer 14 Lanes of Axe Throwing, Pool Tables, Beer & Wine Bar, and more to come! Our story is only just beginning, it's taken more twists and turns then we ever expected, but we couldn't be more grateful for it.
